General Requirement

  • Malaysian PR
  • Age between 21 to 60 years old (by the end of the financing agreement).
  • Not blacklisted by AEON or any other banks in Malaysia.
  • Not under Special Attention Account (SAA) – Pemerhatian Khas.
  • Not under the Debt Management Programme by AKPK.

For HSBC Amanah customer

  • Minimum monthly income is RM3,000 or minimum annual income is RM36,000.

For a new customer

  • Minimum monthly income is RM5,000 or minimum annual income is RM60,000.

If your loan application is approved, you will have to open a Saving or Current Account with HSBC Amanah. Your monthly payment will be deducted automatically from the account.

    – A copy of appointment letter (if employed less than 3 months).

Salaried Employee with variable income

  1. Copy of NRIC (front and back).
  2. Any of the following document(s):
    – Latest 3 months payslip or latest 3 months bank statement (salary credited).
    – Latest BE form with a valid tax payment receipt or latest EPF statement or a yearly commission statement.

Self-employed

  1. Copy of NRIC (front and back).
  2. Any of the following document(s):
    – Latest B from with a valid tax payment receipt or CPO2 attached or latest EPF statement.
    – Audited financial statement or Profit and Loss account.
    – Business registration form (SSM).

Charges & Fees

As previously stated, HSBC Amanah does not charge any processing or stamp duty fee for HSBC Amanah Personal Financing-i.

There is no early termination fee. However, you will have to provide at least 1 months’ notice for early termination.

A late payment fee of 1% of the outstanding amount will be imposed if you are late in your monthly instalment.

Do take note that HSBC Amanah reserve the right to increase the profit rate if your monthly payment is not up to standard.
